Why do some keyboard shortcuts in Lotus Notes work (Ctrl+Backspace) and others don't (Ctrl+Delete)?

You’re using Office shortcuts – if you used Windows shortcuts (e.g. Copy & Paste) then they should all work from Lotus Notes, Notepad, anything… the Windows ones work in virtually all applications – the Office ones MAY be emulated in other programs but don’t count on it. Sometimes there’s another way to do it.

E.g. <Ctrl>-<Shift>-> and <Ctrl>-<Shift>-< will increase and decrease your font in Office. In Lotues Notes <F2> and <Shift>-<F2> do that. You can’t "Format Paint" (which I love) in Lotus Notes but you can set <F11> to some of your favorite formats. E.g. I have a large font, a large color, a bullet list and the default. So if I paste something in and it takes the source format I can press <F11> (4 times) and it goes to default. Or I press it once or twice to make all the titles/topic in a long email stand out.

When you’re at the Welcome page you can get a list of all the shortcuts – one of the tool tips shows the key sequence I think it <Ctrl>H or something like that.
